Welcome
It is a pleasure to present our website to you, whether you are a pupil, member of staff, parent, prospective parent, or if you are simply browsing! The website offers an insight into the busy life of Bryn Tawe. I hope you will visit regularly to receive updates from the school and to join us in celebrating all the successes our pupils achieve.
Bryn Tawe is a close-knit and friendly school, where our pupils contribute significantly to the success and growth of our community. We ask that all of our learners follow the three key principles to success in life – Respect, Perseverance and Welshness! We want our pupils to grow to be responsible and ambitious citizens, who are tolerant, show respect and kindness to others and demonstrate an attitude to overcome challenges!
“Ennill Llwyr yw Ennill Iaith" is Bryn Tawe's motto and reminds us that our pupils have an extra dimension to their life, in that they are able to communicate fluently in two languages. Being bilingual opens doors to a rich culture in both languages, increases opportunities socially and culturally, and deepens a sense of identity, expanding our learners' opportunities in the employment market.
Although we acknowledge the great responsibility we have as a school, it is an immense privilege to be able to provide an education for all of our pupils. We offer a wide range of academic and vocational opportunities, in addition to an extensive range of wider experiences. We are proud of the personal support each pupil receives as a member of the Bryn Tawe family.
Whatever your connection to Bryn Tawe, I wish you all a warm welcome to our website, and should you want to discuss any aspect of the school's work, or wish to visit us at Bryn Tawe, please do not hesitate in getting in touch.

Head
